VTree Inc's City
of Life Skills program is the latest addition to our family
of software systems. It is constructed as a virtual city where
individuals can practice and learn important life skills. COLS is an
interactive VR system where individuals learn to navigate traffic and
people, and can practice learning banking and shopping skills at
participating businesses.
The City of Life
Skills program was developed in conjunction with parents,
teacher and therapists to give the special needs community their own
virtual world to learn about specific areas of daily personal/social
living and occupational skills. VTree Inc. is developing this system
with direct input from the special needs community on how it should look
and function including all aspects on how life skills training should be
designed.
We are proud to announce that Commerce Bank has
recently joined our City of Life
Skills world as an interactive bank where users can practice
how to write a check, fill out a deposit/withdraw slip and operate an
ATM
The disk for every
City of Life Skills program
will be burned at Ken-Crest Employnet in Pottstown, PA. Employnet offers
employment opportunities for people with developmental disabilities.
